Medical Administrative assistant

The right fit for this role is passionate about holistic health, tech savvy, great with people, self-motivated, organized, has an optimistic attitude and a good sense of humor. They are looking for a long-term administrative position where they can express their creativity, compassion, and desire to be of service in the community.

About the position:

  • 15-20 hours a week

  • Hourly rate commensurate with experience

  • Opportunity to expand hours and role as the clinic grows

Job description:

  • Answering phone, responding to texts and voicemails through VOIP

  • Scheduling patients and new patient registration

  • Sending and receiving digital faxes

  • Uploading medical records and lab reports to patient charts

  • Processing and shipping labs

  • Tracking supplements – inventory, ordering, stocking, patient refills

  • Marketing/social media support

  • Keeping offices clean and organized

  • Experience and Skills Required:

  • At least one year of administrative or customer service experience

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency with computers, software, digital filing, and shared drives

Additional Experience and Skills Preferred:

  • Clinical healthcare administrative experience

  • HIPAA training

  • Familiarity with cloud-based Healthcare or Client Relationship Management tools

  • Social media for business

  • Passion for holistic medicine
